Today I have a good news story for you – which considering we’re in to episode 20, a ratio of 1 to 19 isn’t bad. Firstly I’m going to start off with a piece which you can find at nature.com, that recent research suggests Huge ocean-floor craters were literally caused by the exploding methane bursting out the ground thousands of years ago, unfortunately, methane is still escaping for the Arctic floor.
Here’s where it gets positive.
The nature.com article goes on to say John Kessler who is an oceanographer at the University of Rochester in New York published a study in the Journal Science, that microbes in the deep ocean consumed the methane released during the 2010 Deepwater Horizon spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
What do you think? Is this just hopium?
