It’s become apparent over the last few months that a large part of one of Antarctica’s largest ice shelves, Larsen C, is on the verge of breaking off the into the ocean.

The latest observations by British scientists show the crack in the ice shelf to have expanded by 17 kilometers (10.5 miles) in the last week of May 2017. Scientists have observed that the crack grew 80 miles in length and 300 feet in width from 2010 to November 2016.

I’d like to know how many of you out there listening are trying to remove yourselves from the carbon based rat race, I’m not necessarily saying going totally off-grid, but I’d like to know what you’re doing because I’m feeling pretty fucking helpless and I’d like some tips.

Please let me know on the environmental professionals postulating facebook group, check out the website at www.epppodcast.com , and don’t forget to subscribe and review for more depressing environmental updates.
